… between old and new. Between nature and culture. Between form and function. Between a building and its context. Between the people who use it. In my opinion, it’s the tension in these intersections that forms the basis of all great design. My mission as an architect and designer, is to understand, negotiate between, and interpret all these factors (and many others) into elegant solutions which respect the existing, while also challenging the status quo. The perfect project stands out just enough to give flight to the imagination, and new meaning to old stories.
